Alignment matters. But alignment alone does not create forward movement.

This week, we are going to look at the part that comes next: doing the work, checking the progress, and building a team that owns its commitments.

Trail Map - Learn. Think. Act.™

📚Learn

Alignment is important, but alignment alone doesn’t create results.

A teams can agree on the goal, speak the same language, and have a clear path, but if no executes, nothing changes.

Progress comes from doing the work, measuring the outcome, and learning from what happens next.

Real accountability isn’t about someone watching over you. It’s about creating a system where people own their commitments and consistently follow through.

🤔Think

What’s keeping your team from making progress?

Is it:

  • A lack of clarity?

  • Too many connecting priorities?

  • Or are distractions pulling attention away from the work that matters most?

The quality of your results often depends on the quality of the questions you’re willing to ask.

💪Act

Pick one priority.

Write down the next three actions that move it forward.

Complete them before adding something new to your list.

Then ask one simple question:

Did the work move us closer to the outcome we wanted?

If yes, keep going.

If not, adjust the approach, not the commitment.
